Who we are

Highland Lakes Lock & Key LLC ("we," "us," "our") is a mobile locksmith business serving Marble Falls, Horseshoe Bay, Kingsland, Granite Shoals, Llano, and the surrounding Highland Lakes area. We have no public storefront; our technicians travel to your vehicle, home, or business to perform work.

Scheduling and dispatch

Service requests are typically handled by phone. Standard-rate service is available Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM. Evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays are considered after-hours emergency service and are billed at a higher rate. Live dispatch available 24/7/365 for lockouts and emergencies.

Arrival windows given by phone are estimates. Travel time can vary with weather, traffic, and how many jobs are ahead of yours, and we'll let you know if something changes materially.

Pricing and payment

Prices quoted by phone are estimates based on the information you provide. The confirmed price is set on-site once the technician can assess the actual job — for example, the condition of an existing lock, the vehicle's specific key/programming requirements, or the scope of a rekey or master-key job. We'll confirm the final price with you before starting work.

Standard-rate and after-hours pricing apply as described above. Payment is due at the time service is completed, by the payment methods our technician accepts on-site.

Authorization to perform service

Because locksmith work involves granting or restoring access to a vehicle, home, or business, we may ask for identification and proof that you're the owner, tenant, or otherwise authorized to request entry or lock changes before beginning work. We reserve the right to decline service if we can't reasonably confirm authorization.

Workmanship

We stand behind the work we perform. If a locksmith-related issue arises directly from our workmanship on a completed job, contact us and we'll make it right. This does not cover unrelated hardware failures, damage from misuse after service, or pre-existing conditions with locks, doors, or vehicles that existed before we arrived.

Limitation of liability

We take reasonable care on every job, but to the fullest extent permitted by law, Highland Lakes Lock & Key LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for pre-existing damage or defects in a lock, door, frame, vehicle, or access-control system that we did not cause. Our liability for a given service is limited to the amount paid for that service.

Use of this website

We aim to keep the site accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and information such as pricing and service areas is subject to change.

Licensing

Highland Lakes Lock & Key LLC operates as a Licensed Texas Locksmith — License #01754484. Texas regulates locksmith work through the DPS Private Security Program; there is no separate "locksmith license" category.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as our services or policies change. The version posted here is the one currently in effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
